Big Daddy Phe FINALLY Got 'THE' Boat !!!

Philip ordered his boat a few months ago and when the sales manager told him he would have to wait anywhere from 8-10 weeks he was devastated. BUT the day arrived in early June when the boat was ready. We couldn't test it out for a couple of days but that Monday after work we went to the Tickfaw River to cruise. I would say it's our new boat but in actuality it is TYLER'S new boat. If you dare make the mistake by saying our boat he quickly interjects and reminds you that it is HIS new boat. We have gone fishing a few times since and we really enjoy the boat. It's the perfect size and we love it.

Such a Sad Day

I really hate posting sad news but I heard this morning on the radio that Steven Curtis Chapman's 5 yr. old daughter Maria died yesterday. It was a horrible accident. Her older brother was practicing his driving skills in their driveway and accidently backed over her and it resulted in her death. I can not imagine how their family is dealing with the loss of their daughter and I can't imagine how her brother is handling the fact that it was his fault. The entire family was home and all the other siblings witnessed the accident. Please say a prayer for their family. How horrible !!! Pray for their son that he is granted peace and acceptance that is what truly an accident, pray for the parents to have peace in their hearts and for the other children that saw the accident to have that last image erased from their little minds. How quickly we have to learn and remember that each day is such a blessing and how precious life really is....

My Girl Got Married !!

This weekend my friend Amy got married. I have been looking forward to the day she got married for so long. She really believed that she was going to be an old maid but everyone else knew better. We all knew that the right "one" hadn't come along yet, that was until she met Mike. I didn't get many pictures of her in her wedding gown b/c her photographers were nazi's. I couldn't get a decent shot no matter how hard I tried. She looked absolutely amazing, her dress was beautiful but Amy glowed. The ceremony and reception was lovely too.

These last couple of pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago. He looks so grown up in his big boy underwear, it's a shame that he had a diaper under those undies. Potty training, YIKES !!

More Spring Break 08

It was so nice just getting away from the daily hustle and bustle. No kids, husbands, house work and all the other things that have to be taken care of every day. We all really needed this vacation more than I think we realized & we have all decided that we will continue our little get-aways each year.

SPRING BREAK 08

ALL DAY SICKNESS

Why couldn't I just have morning sickness? Instead I have all day sickness. Everything I even think about eating almost kills me and when I do eat I get really nauseous and I get the most horrible indigestion EVER !! I am only EIGHT weeks pregnant, I shouldn't have all these ailments yet... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right ?? I sure hope so. Yesterday was by far the worst day yet. I started feeling really bad right before lunch and finally @ 4:00 I left work and went to my mama's house (Mrs. Sonia - mom-in-law). She always takes care of me. I just sat on the couch and did nothing. She left for Weight Watchers and when she got back I was still there, on the couch, doing nothing. She picked up dinner for us so we ate a little then I crawled back on the couch, doing nothing. We didn't get home until 7:45... I was pathetic. Luckily, I got a really good nights rest & today I feel a little better. I haven't eaten yet b/c I am scared of the aftermath, so we'll see how the rest of the day goes.

sorry I haven't post any new pictures, I haven't been carrying my camera with me so I have nothing to blog about. I may have to borrow Sonia's camera and steal some of her pictures from the last couple of weeks.

A New Addition To Our Family

We recently found out that Philip & I are expecting our second child due sometime in November. Please keep us in your prayers for a healthy baby AND also that I keep my cool since this summer will be a "HOT" one and we all know I get cranky when it's hot outside.
