Colored Chicks ??

Last week @ daycare Mrs. Casi's dad brought some colored chicks for the kids. The only child who wanted anything to do with the chicks was of course Drew.

Poor chicks look like they are about to be squeezed to death !!!

Now it's Tyler's turn. Casi told me that Tyler was really nervous around the chicks and didn't want to touch them.

Weems' Easter

Easter Sunday was equally as beautiful. We went to my parents for another Easter Get Together
These were taken at home Easter Morning. Once Tyler spotted the Thomas Easter Train nothing else really seemed to matter.

Tyler finally decided to see what else the Easter Bunny left for him in his basket.

So besides the pictures following, this was my most favorite moment from the ENTIRE day. JJ playing with Tyler. He probably has no idea why it meant SOO much for me to see them play together but it meant everything to me. Of course Tyler was a little spastic and JJ tried to explain to him to slow down with the bubble wand flinging but Tyler really didn't care, he just wanted to play. Boys be patient !! Yeah Right !!!

After everyone left for the day Tyler & Philip went for a walk around the yard. Tyler obviously spotted the ONLY mud hole in dad's entire 7 acre yard. He obviously ran towards the mud puddle and when his foot hit the mud, down he went. He was quite upset about the fall.

Saturday we had the annual Easter Party @ our house with the Butler side of the family + a couple of friends. I'll make it short and just post all the 500 pictures. The pictures are out of sequence but I am too lazy to organize them today.

Ryan's 14th Birthday

Last Tuesday my baby brother turned 14. We celebrated his birthday at my parents house that evening. We ate mexican and cake/icecream. Then we played the Wii !! My sweet little brother is turning into a young man - he shaves, his voice has changed and now he is talking about his driver's license.

Tyler's 2nd Birthday - PART II

Saturday we invited our immediate family and the Deschamps over for cake & ice cream. The weather was beautiful so we were able to spend some time in our backyard vs. being crammed in the house. My dad wasn't able to make it b/c he had been working in Kentucky the week prior and they had a bad snow storm. He was suppose to fly home Friday but got delayed for the weekend. We were sad he couldn't be there but you can't predict the weather....

Tyler was able to blow the candle out all by himself. He did a great job.

I just wanted to post this picture b/c this train set was given to Tyler for his birthday. It is from his Great Aunt Sandra. She has this knack for picking the best gifts for Tyler. At Christmas she got him a little train that he had to bring to bed with him at night b/c he was ADDICTED to it. Now for his birthday she got him THIS train set, which of course, he is now ADDICTED to. Everything choo-choo. He loves his Aunt Sandra !!! We love our Aunt Sandra.
